Daulatganj route opens from August

Kota papers have reported that the jungle drive from Daulatganj Gate is ready to receive visitors from August. After Garadia Mahadev, this is Hadoti’s next close-to-city eco-tourism loop — gypsy and canter on a roughly 20 km circuit that takes about two hours.

Deputy Conservator of Forests (DCF) Muthu S. was quoted saying five gypsies are already registered and one canter is in process. Proposed visitor fees in that coverage were about ₹750 on the canter and ₹900 on the gypsy, per person. Live rates must be confirmed at the gate.

Permission for the route came in January. Because it sits in the buffer zone, papers said entry is planned even in the rains. Slots match the usual forest hours: morning 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM and evening 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM.

The published line starts and ends at Daulatganj Gate. Visitors pass Kotia Bhil Fort, Garadia viewpoint and Rathkankara, with Chambal cliff views on the same loop. Animals listed in the Kota report: panther (leopard), sloth bear, chinkara, chital, jackal, nilgai and hyena.
